Anyone out there recommend any Superfoods they use on a regular basis? I am trying to lose weight and get healthier.
I read a book once that claimed that the "10 essential" foods are: almonds, broccoli, brown rice, carrots, dulse (a sea vegetable), figs, flax oil, grapefruit, spinach, and sprouts.
I think the idea of "essential foods" or "super foods" however is not particularly weight loss, but health in general (which may also result in weight loss).
I have tried eating more of these foods from time to time, and they actually make me feel healthier, but I have not tried to ‘measure’ the results.

I’m not quite sure if they will help you lose weight but I know they will greatly improve your health, which would be good all around! I’ve heard of blue-green algeas being referred to as superfoods… Spirulina, Chorella, etc. Look them up!! They are loaded with nutrients.
